Have you ever opened letters which you didn't expect you would receive and which made you jumped with excitement? Letters which would not only make you proud of yourself but your parents too. I think such letters bear more significance to me that the actual certificates themselves. So, here are some of the proudest moments of my life :)
I am involved in the Nanotechnology Applications in Supercapacitors Research (Power Sources) here at the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. In my research, I characterise the physical and electrochemical properties of nanostructured metal oxides and carbon nanotubes composites to determine their viability as electrode materials for electrochemical capacitors (power sources). I hold two bachelors from the University of Western Australia, i.e. an engineering degree in the field of Electrical & Electronics and a Commerce degree with triple majors in Investment Finance, Accounting & Managerial Accounting. My PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham is in the area of carbon nanotubes composites, electrochemistry, and electrochemical capacitors. I enjoy traveling to new places, learning new cultures and meeting people. For information about my education/work experience please click on the LinkedIn hyperlink below.
